Probably not the Escort (Rear wheel drive???)

The rear wheel steering, or more accurately, 4WS, was a bit of a gimmick for the Japanese in the 80's, with cars like the Mazda MX-6 and Honda Prelude flaunting their talent. the gains were negligible, however, and the last car to have it from Japan, the 3000GT, died peacefully in 2000.

It's made a comeback in big SUV's and the like from america, where it can reduce turning circles from 13 to 11 metres. Hardly stunning, but a significant advantage.
