And here it is, the production version of the Astra GTC concept. Less sexy, but still very good looking. It will be launched at the Paris motorshow in September.

BTW, it's my 18th birthday today and tonight I'm finally going to drive a car :D  :o Sadly enough I'm going to have the driving lessons in a Peugeot 206:( And I don't like French cars, so I'm probably gonna crash it ;)

I really like this car.
Liked the 5-door Astra, but this looks really good.
There isn't a 3-door Golf V, right?
It won't look this good in any perspective....

BTW: Happy Birthday! I have to wait till february..... (I like french cars)

There is a 3-door Golf V, it looks almost the same as the 5-door.

I just saw three beautiful cars on the dutch highway, Ferrari 355, Testarossa and a Lamborghini Diablo  :D :D The first Lambo I've ever seen on the road here :D Sadly they where all on the other side of the road so I only saw them for a short moment, but it's still great.

and very easy to drive, because you don't need the throttle, just the clutch to pull away in first gear (and in second too).

OK, I survived as you guys can see. And I didn't hit anything. It was really fun, although, changing gear and using the clutch in combination with the throttle is quite hard.
And henk4 you where right, you can just drive away with the clutch only.

remember that also when you have to do the special parking exercises, just let it roll, it won't stall.
