Oh great! I bet you before the owner of that F1 had that, he had either a Corvette, Mustang, Viper or Escalade with big oversized "pimpin" alloys that only make the car slower in a line and round corners ... argh! why?! Now look what they did, they made me angry!!!

It has become an urban myth that "Mr Bean wrote off his McLaren F1"

Rowan Atkinson, certified top car-nut, did have an accident in his dodgy-maroon liveried F1:

As you can see, most of the damage is relatively minor bodywork disarray.
It was patched up, and he has been spotted 'out and about' in it fairly recently.

how do you know those arent as light as the originals? i wouldnt change em if i had 1, but i cant say those are horribly wrong. and i bet if the owner did have those cars, he still has them, its not like F1 owners move on from their last car when it gets dated, this is simply a toy for them. also, i doubt this is a persons personal car, it is probably a companies. maybe? it just strikes me as thats wat it is.

as for the stickers, that company probably gave them parts or whatever for free, in exchange for getting their name on the car. or, it is the logo of the company that owns it and thats some pretty good advertising space id say.

I can pretty much guarantee those alloys are heavier, Gordon Murray made sure the wheels of the F1 were as light as possible, and I think theyre actually one of the lightest road wheels around. Even if its the stock wheels paint is quite heavy (The F1 would weight a few Kg more if it was re-sprayed with any paint apart from the Mclaren stuff). Anyone who admits to liking mirror chromed wheels should be shunned to the Ricer Box of Doom; well, thats my opinion :)

Edit : I suppose theyre not as bad as the ones which almost take up the whole wheel in chrome metal!
