When i bought my car it already had been lowered by some Eibach sport springs, but the drop only was 35mm. I like my cars lowered, but 35mm is for wusses ;) I like to go extreme, so i purchased a nice Weitec GTN kit (85/65 mm)

and today i got to install it:

Before (i dont know if you guys get Bullit in USA but its the same size as a Red Bull can)

You can see that the can barely fits under the euro Vr6 lip

Now its time to save money for some nice RSL 15" and im a happy man!

it is as tall as a red Bull can, calls for stripping off the cheesy trinm and putting on some custom rims.

Lucky you with a Euro-spec GTI. People spend thousands to get their cars to look like that in the US. People go so far as to spray the tops of their bumpers and side moldings with truck bedliner spray... Hell, eventually I'll have Euro bumpers and fenders... But that's not till after the 20V Turbo. ;)

20V is that the same engine used in the Passat, Golf GTi and Audi A4 and A3.. if so why not just get a VR6 in there…?

More power, cheaper. If I did a VR6, 12 or 24 valve, I'd end up going the FI route anyway. So why not go with the motor that's already turbo? And the motor responds to mods very well. APR's 93 octane program nets 25-40hp and 35-55lb-ft for ~$500.

Though if I could find a 3.2L VR6 cheap, I'd DEFINITELY do that...
