I just downloaded about 200 really cool pics :cool: If you like the first batch tell me and I'll keep posting them. I'm on a dial up :( So it'll take me time to post them all.

I see in your signature that "peace is a respect for each other's rights". Shall I assume that this extends to copyrights, and that you're giving full credit to the photographer from www.fast-autos.net, who these photos belong to?

I don't mean to sound harsh, so I'm sorry if this comes across that way. I appreciate the effort that went into saving these and posting them here. :) I've personally had my photos plagiarised before on multiple counts, and it isn't the nicest thing. This isn't plagiarism, or nearly as bad, of course, but I'm just making sure that full credit is given where it's due.

I don't mean to single you out. This message is directed at the handful of users on UCP who regularly do this.

It's not my intension to plagerise anyones work. After I downloaded the pics, I thought I'd be cool to share them with everyone here. So to clear up things, some very lucky photographer took these pics for Fast-Autos.net

I'll let you guys choose if I continue to post the remaining pics or not. If I count more favorable comments than negative, I'll continue. If it's the other way around, I'll stop, all in the name of fairness. So, for the moment, here is the last batch.

Anyways, I remember one in California a few years ago. My cousins, Bryan, Nick, and Tyler(RIP) :( went to California, and just stumbled apon it. So they just checked out, and got good photos. You know what? I'll e-mail them and see if they can e-mail the pics so I can show you guys.

Like I said, I understand his point in general...but...plagerism is when you take credit for someone elses work, I never did that. At the start of the thread I said that "I downloaded the pics", I never even implied that I had taken them or that they were my intelectual property in any way.

Every pic has Fast-Autos stamped on them, therefore I didn't think of saying were I downloaded them from since it's already on every pic. And I cleared it up later in the thread anyhow by stating that the pics "were taken by a lucky photographer for Fast-Autos.net."

I have a question, are we to post every URL we get a picture we post from?? I know it wasn't intensional, but it's annoying when people even consider the possibilty that one is a plagerist.

there isn't a lucky photographer, i'm pretty sure it's just one guy who takes all the pics, Drew Phillips, the site owner

Glad you liked the pics Niko:) Yeah, I'm still on a dial up. I'm thinking about getting the DSL from the local phone company here (Telmex), the problem is that people tell me that they use the wrong kind of modem that Macs need. Not sure what they mean, I'll see once I get it sorted out.

I thought about posting the link once I was about half way through to be honest. It's funny, once I finished downloading the pics, my first thought was to post em' for you guys :)
