i dont like the chrome or the color of the car but the wheels do make the car look a lot sportier.
Rijoh, in reference to your quote, Jay Kay lost his license for six months for speeding, i dont know if it was in his Enzo but probably likely it was.

He was doing 105mph in a "four wheel drive vehicle".

Those pesky huns have gotten RR!
Then Nelly goes and blings it up.
Then again, anything remotely involving expensive cars these days and people will clambour over themselves to bling it up.

I reckon the Rolls needed some cool new wheels, the stock ones looked a bit bland. These suit it fine. I mean come on, luxury-chrome!

I'll agree, the wheels of the original Phantom look like cheap Honda knock offs, but there are better ways. Preferably less blinged.

Well I thought it would have been difficult to make the RR look worse than BMW made it, but these wheels sure have done it.

Hey, Bangle didn't touch the design, but hey, when you've it, flaunt it.

Great, that even without Bangle, BMW is capable of producing something extraordinarily ugly.

Wasn't it Ian Cameron, the designer of the Aston Martin DB7, which did this hideous design?

I don't know, I can imagine that nobody will stand and proudly say: This is my design!

It's beautifully proportioned, i would be happy-ish with it, when the marketers went to the front and said "It needs to be more prominent, add a vertical grille" then you have problems.

Ian Callum styled the Aston Martin DB7 and Project Vanquish.
He is now head of design at Jaguar, and has done the X-350 XJ aswell as S-Type and XK facelifts.
Ian Cameron is head of design at Rolls Royce Motor Cars, however, most of the exterior styling was headed by Marek Djordjevic, and Charles Coldham was responsible for the interior style.
:)
And hes henk4, I think Djordjevic is quite proud of the design.
