But there was a bloody motorcycle race on. Since I know some of you like bikes, I got a couple of pics. Luckily, there were also some OK cars there! I'll post em now..

I reckon that last pic of the Commodore Ute is a bit of a ricer with that big useless wing on the back. Loving the FPV GT UTE though!!!

And heres final 3 pics. I've got more, but I couldn't upload em all cause they're still on my digital camera, and the damn batteries are flat.

What is this winged truck? Is it meant for taking off? Can the wing be removed to use the cargo area or is that totally filled up with sound boosters?

both of those utes, (utility vehicle) are perfomance utes, not really for working.
both companies make one toner versions for work etc. these are very fast machines... alot of rubber melting ability...

You can carry the shiela in the back :p

J/k. You can put stuff in the bak, but as whiteballz says ,you usually get more basic ones for that. They have live rear axle so they can be quite the handful in the wet! They're very powerful. I guess they're an Aussie and Kiwi thing. I personally like the style of performance utes, look very sleek.

Ford are keeping true to traditional utes with live ales and leaf springs, although its more to do with the top of the line Pursuit has like 80% of an XL one tonner. holden have both a monocoque chassis ute with the sedans IRS as well as a hybrid chassis ute, which doesnt have any performance variants
