I don't know how true that can be considering Karrman has a huge bias towards fords and the Website is called Fordlemons.com, which is biased in itself.

Fungus can build up in ANY car......not to defend Ford. But this could be a new Ford acronym, for Ford HVAC systems: Fungus Or Roast Dilemma

Established acronyms: -fixed or repaired daily
-found on road dead

Who is we? It was only you who posted this. Make yourself more clear next time. As you can see, That site as you can see is called Ford Lemons. Many stuff in there is fake. This is a site that will talk very bad stuff about ford even when it is not true. If this really happened then we should see it in the news and hear about it everyday telling all the people who drives a taurus should return it immediately. Well did we hear anything like that? No!.

I can go and make a site and make a flash saying, Prius, can kill you because the engine can blow up. WOW!. If you do have proof that this is real then please show me and I will happily appologise.

Can I atleast see some proof? Before you call me a super ford fanboy. Get your facts straight. I am not trying to defend ford or anything but sometimes people get to carried away with there actions. You for example, I have never seen one good word coming out of your mouth about ford. Except for your escort. Atleast be more positive instead of being all negative. Ya ford cars suck and stuff, But do people really have to make fun of them that much? Do people have to bring up all there bad news and show it to everyone and show how ford sucks so badly? If people really hate ford so much then ignore ford. Don't talk about ford. Try to get it out of your mind and not think about it.

They won't give me a rental car, because I am not 21 yet. However, Enterprise Rental down the street was happy to put me in an extremely high performance car, a 4 door Neon.

I hope that the court RAPES Ford, and I get enough cash to sell my piece of shit, and lay skidmarks at my local dealership in my new Vette.

You may be asking why I would want another Ford after all the trouble? Well, I truly believe my car was fine until one of the dumbass Ford mechanics touched it. I mean, these guys are total idiots. They follow along with Ford's "Band-Aid" policy where you fix it as cheap as possible, even if it means not fixing the problem at all or rigging it to work until the car is out of warranty. I hate Ford mechanics (that I have come in contact with) with a passion. They consistently blame the problems on my driving habits. HELLO! I need to get around

Well, to me this shows that Ford has shitty mechanics

Just a few quotes from a complaint i have read about a mustang cobra this young gentalman bought....it is intresting how his is the only complaint on several sites about a cobra model.......

I feel the EXACT same way. ive been getting such crappy service I was forced to repair it myself (though since I love cars i'm not scared to get my hands dirty). but yeah, I espically hate Bob Thibeatu ford, I wanna burn that place to the ground cause all they did to my Escort was tear it apart. they would throw on a bunch of nuts and bolts and charge me $200 for it!

the freakin Ford mechanics think that the motor oil goes into the Coolent hose.

In a recall our X-focus was involved, required removal of the A-pillar and the C-pillar trim. They replaced what needed to be replaced and broke both these pieces in the process. Now, does this make Ford a bad car? Maybe not the best because it had the recall...but my point is: Ford recalls the car and allots a certain amount of time to perform the work...time that the dealership will get paid for. The dealership appoints there least experienced mechanics, costing the least per hour to do the deed. Indeed they do.... the car. Since money can be made on the alloted time, the parts are slapped on in an effort to do 3 jobs in the time to do one. The poor mechanic/tech gets his hourly and the dealer gets the rest.

I expect, Ford pays for broken trim as well. Which is installed based on alotted time..... by the cheapest labor..... Ford in the mean time, gave me a gift for each recall. A stainless mug once, a Casio G-shock watch, a coupon for oil change....I didn't even ask. I feel sorry for Ford, not only are they competing against superior imported products they're getting snookered by the dealership network. I'm sure most dealers won't do this......just avoid small hurting dealerships.

End result: Ford gets a bad rap...I don't buy another Ford. Greed, it hurts more than the glutton :(

Back in the halcyon (cough, cough) days when i owned a 2000 Focus (ok car to drive as new cars go, but unreliable), I found Ford's service to be extremely disappointing, too. Ford needs to work on this...Toyota too, now that I think about it.

As to the fungus...I just lysol'd the living sh1t out of my heater box and put it back in. Smelled like lemon scented wood polish for 3 months after that too :)

fords are not bad my Escort is super reliable and I took it in today for an oil change, and i took it to Jiffy lube, it was a piece of crap when I was relieing on Bob Thibeatu ford to keep it running though, so if you own a ford, fix it yourself or just take it to a non Ford place and it will be a good reliable car, but with the Focus, it is a diffrent story :p

but anyway Lysol doesn't work like the guy said, cause when it wore off the car was dangerous again and was deadly.

It's not likely that you will save any lives by finding someone on UCP who happens to have a Ford Taurus of this age with this problem. Your posts are systematically designed to rag on Fords, and it's pretty obvious.

Want to save some lives? Make a donation. Your money will help people who need help badly.

Good one, Egg-Nog, a worthy organisation that always needs support to help around the world.

BTW, is that a recent name change for Medecins Sans Frontieres ??
It's still ( and always has been ) MSF here, have they had to bring in a name change in the US to avoid the backlash ??

So another urging to give some money ( or time if you're medically trained ) :)

They just changed because most people in the USA probably wouldn't know what it meant, understandably. It's still officially MSF, and always will be - they even put "Medecins sans Frontieres" above "Doctors without Borders" on the US site's logo :)

You'll excuse me if i'm confused.

You don't like the way ford is covering up their air-con blunders (Apparantly...) and you don't like their service, but you drive their cars?

The best way to show your disapproval is to boycott the product. Burn your escort in protest.

Oh, and In Australia it's Medecins Sans Frontiers.

And your Caravan (Built by Dodge, for those not in the know) has anything to do with what?

The fact is you've obviously been sucked in by the Proportion-blowing rants of people with a clear and obvious bias....THRICE!

first the vector weirdos, then the Prius fanboyness, now the anti-ford campaign. Something is very, very wrong with you.

Find an unbiased (Ie: news broadcaster or something from Ford's own website) about this, and we'll talk. Until some real, unbiased proof is given, your rightly earning your titile as fanboy and hater, all in the one sitting.

do you even know what a granuloma is? (genoma or something, as you called it)

Because a quick search reveals it's a BENIGN (that's harmless) lesion from the body's own immune system.

In other words, he had a harmless "bruise" on the inside of his lung. Congratulations, you're going to try and sue Ford for what is the equivalent of a common cold.

No permanent damage, could happen in any car, shouldn't be a problem with proper maintenance, no lives will be saved. Goodbye lawsuit, thanks for playing.
