guys i just bought the Nokia 6600 and i added some MP3 musics but it reqeries other type... it can accept
mp4
3gp
amr
rm
ram

so guys do u know anyway i can change the type so it will work on my phone :confused:

There are always programs that can do the conversion for you. But for me to tell me what programs to use you gotta tell me what kinda files you're converting from.

u need 2 use midi files if you want to have the music as your ring tones etc. the other thing u can do is change some mp3 files to amr. that's the multimedia sound format the phone uses. i haven't found any sorftware to do this as yet though. if you do please let me know...

I want to convert the Mp3 to any of the choice my phones accepts(writen above)

I just bought (well got for free on the contract) a 6600 aswell, did you get the pc software with it? If you did when you transfer a file using that it converts it to wav and then you can use it as a ringtone.

yeh i got 1 but i didnt get it like infrared or anything like that... i got an SD card reader.. i plug it in the pc and then i take offf the memory card from my phone and then put it in the SD card reader and i add anything i want from my pc... But the music r in MP3 type so cant work on my phone... need to change them :(

If you have the Apple program iTunes (free download from www.apple.com/itunes) then you can convert the tracks. Search for the topic 'converting' in Help. The download is 19mb if you are a Windows user, or about 9mb if you're a Mac user (like me! :D:D:D)
