I can't believe you didn't know that the Dauer 962 Le Mans broke the 3 second barrier by a long shot (2.6 seconds  )! Porsche originally designed the car, my porsche.

and yes, testing began a while ago, and there was even a press day for the car (media could drive the car).

Dude the Corvette Z06 does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds... 3 second barrier no big deal.

3 second barrier....as in less than 3 seconds. I think someone quoted a 3.1 sec time for the Enzo on this site. Saying, it was done by a Ferrari test driver. It must be a pretty big deal if even an Enzo can't do it. Or a matter of priority...

Do you actually think that it's going to be "mass produced" like your everyday civic? I doubt that if they do make it, they will ever make more than 100 copies. Anyways, making 12 copies of a car holds the term "produced" just as well as making 12,000 copies. The ME 4-12 won't be considered "mass produced"

Last time I checked, 399 copies of a car wasn't considered mass produced. Once again, a civic would be considered "mass produced."

Isn't the ME Four-Twelve concept car a Mercedes product.
Like the Chrysler Crossfire which used SLK mechanicals put together by Karmann.

Saleen S7 is already in the under 3 club. And I thinks, it is American designed.

those stats are not really real. People have said it only went up to 3.5sec.

It does use a mercedes engine, but that isn't a big deal. The Zonda uses a mercedes engine, and it's considered italian. same with the McLaren F1, which uses a BMW engine; it's considered a british car.

That site is wrong, the S7 pulls in a 3.7 seconds:

Thanks Sweeney921, didn't know they had the ME four-twelve on there!

About the Dauer Racing 962 LM; the car is basically a race car, and quite unpractical. Not to mention, that if it is driven enthusiastically, the engine needs rebuilt as much as a race car

Yeah but hit the throttle like it's meant to be, and see the gass gauge go down as fast as my car hits 140mph (which it can barely do) :p

Nah, it's only labeled that way, there is no proof of it hitting it's "claimed" 250mph top speed, and the car isn't really a production car in my mind.

Koeinsegg CC is there at 242mph :) Supposedly..

No, they are, those numbers were done by a Saleen test driver, no one else has been able to test the car though. Remember this is the 2004 S7, not 03.

Koeinsegg CC is there at 242mph :) Supposedly..There isn't any more proof of the CC doing 242 than the 962 doing 250. Neither of them have been tested. Anyway, if the 250mph top speed is accurate, name one car that's faster...........thought so

The 962 is a race car, and lacks the practiality and reliability of a road car. The CC has been filmed and radard doing 242, supposadly; didn't say it is accurate, but a few media sources are quotable..check Zero, Great Britian.

Of course, from what I have read, the CC still can't match drivability with the McLaren F1. Can't seam to find any reviews on the CCR, because it uses a new engine and lag-free supercharger.
