Are you sure those wheels are lego? Dont look like lego to me...

What amazes me the most about this is how well they've done the sloping on the side panels! Seriously, look!

Yeah, obviously it's all LEGO other than the wheels. I'm sure they had to do it that way for transportation purposes, as it would be pretty tough to move that beast around if it was just sitting on LEGO wheels.

I wonder if it comes with little lego children and a lego mother pushing her way through traffic???

Nice work, nonetheless, is there nothing you can't do with lego?

Lego Ford Excursion

You'd have to use every lego brick on the planet.

Or any car designed by Chris Bangle, that'd sure be tricky to make!

I thought those types of cars Were designed by 6 year olds using Duplo and Lego!

its real, people actually do this for their living. i was in wal mart once and there was a full size mazda sedan with a 4 foot tall house. very detailed!

Also in Lego news, Ferrari recently displayed a full-size Lego F2004 Formula One car capable of supporting the weight of a real Michael Schumacher.
However, I think the car would have a difficult time passing the required FIA crash test programme! :-)

I don't think it's "chopped," although it does appear blurry in some parts. Even if it is, this person has probably made millions in photoshopping or something.... ;)

Have any of you guys who are thinking this is chopped been to Lego Land? I've seen much more impressive stuff there. I've seen an entire T-rex built out of lego's! And if they can build that, they can definetly build a Volvo. Look, the liscence plate reads "legoland". It also says "California" on it. And I know that there is a Lego Land in California. And can you imagine what it would take to produce that in photoshop? Especially fromall those different angle? It would be crazy! So I'm gonna say that this is real.

It's not fake. If it's fake, then I must be living in the Matrix or something... :p

(It's on display at New York this week.)

out of all the cars in the world why did lego decide to make a Volvo. I would have done a nice Lambo or something more exciting than a little SUV. But thats my opinion :)

They probaly wanted something big. As a challenge. Because if you didi a small car it wouldn't be as hard as a big car. :)

It's without a doubt not chopped you guys. First off here's an article about it:

Special LEGO-version of Volvo XC90 unveiled at New York Auto Show (http://car.kak.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=news&file=article&sid=1662)

Second of all, that would be a really, really tough chop.

It is real and very impressive, they have to design it on computer first, then assemble probably takes a few weeks, i seen other cars built by lego before

anyways, i think they should build a Ferrari Enzo, now that would be an extreme challenge ;)

I think they should do a Saleen S7. All the curves on it would make it nigh impossible. :D

My only question would be... WHY?

Sweeney921

i wanna see them make any car, then put some super light engine in it, a one speed gearbox, and drive it. it would HAVE to have a suspension system, because the vibrations would shake it apart.

If they're using a computer modeler, a ferrari wouldn't be any harder than a volvo :P
