i thought we werent going to allow wouters pic because hes a paid professional. its an amazing pic wouter, its just i think its unfair. and, if titanboy 24 is paid for his position as photographer for the viper club of ontario, i dont think his should be allowed either, just to be fair. i dont think he is but im not sure. althoiugh i would still calll him an amateur, being young and all, so maybe, i dont know. wut do u guys think?

2nd: Salegosse. Really good capturing of the pearl paint.
3rd:Thanos: Really good detail capture.

Me I think is good to open this comp for everyone, there are amateur who deserve awards and the professionals inspire them to take more time and technique to take pictures :confused:

and there's a small revision needed on the image page. Drew shot that with his Nikon D70, not a F717. I WISH A F717 COULD DO THAT. either way, it's spectacular.

Well AAA-Mod took that picture for Ultimatecarpage.com and Drew is not just an amature either, but to shoot a really good pic more than just experience is needed.
Your shot would have been a lot nicer if you'd focussed on the taillight, with the other car blurred in the background.

strange, I voted based on the thumbnails, and the ones I thought were nice I enlarged. It never occurred to me to open Fastauto's picture, and now that I did I think my gut feeling was right. There is too much photoshop in there, and I could not think of a caption going with it. Of course this is a personal taste, but if this pic wins, my tastes are probably not like those of most people. :)

Oops, quite a misjudgement form my side then. Sorry for that. I also don't know how to use that programme myself, but having seen doctored pictures, I got the idea. Now I am surely interested in how you did take the pic. Did you use a long lense or is what you showed a detailed cut from a larger sized pic? How fast was the car moving? Shutter times? Thanks.
