i heard about Henk's car as well, first hand. Henk and his wife traveled over here to Canada back in July and we met, had lunch, etc. he had plenty to say about the underpowered rental car he had, and how his car back home was so much better.

French engineering at it's most idiosyncratic :)

Great for sweeping to the edges of the screen, but the meet in the middle as they operate in a clapping motion ( with a small offset and overlap ). So you get great views except for a stripe of water that sits right up the middle of the screen !! Without Rain-X and excess speed it coudl prove quite dangerous :)

One pic is normal, the second is the highest ('SUV") position, third pic shows the engine, the green sphere is one of the fluid containers of the hydraulic suspension.

If you ever think about cleaning the engine bay, be careful not put water over that "HDI" chrome lettering, because it goes out with water!! :mad:

Thanks for the tip, but I don't have any intention doing that. The car is also pictured in the state "as found" after six weeks absence. Other users of the car show little inclination of cleaning it :)

I will post pics of my car once I get my hands on a digital camera. I currently have a Citroen Picasso (oh yeah) but it isn't mine but a company car. Once I get my hands on some money I am considering buying a Ford Capri 2.8 or a Landrover Defender and if I get a lot of money, an Audi Sport Quattro. (I can dream)

The best I've seen in California is 92 and mostly 91 :eek: Why the low octane, any ideas? :confused: High octane burns cleaner...better for California's strict air quality board!!
