The pic is relatively easy as you can get the stitching s/w for a few 10s of $$ :)

6 cameras mounted in a circle and 'snap' it's done.
I've done similar with ONE camera and multipel snaps for things like views
( My one favourite attempt ( which didn't work out fully ) was to get a panorama in Chicago showing the same boat in every frame in the same plave, I'll try and find it. )

With a little bit of effort it can look perfect. NOTE: They've missed one in this stitch - check out the guy with no shadow :)

I noticed the shadowless guy. I thought he looked like he was 'cut and pasted' in.

Likely the priority for the image join had him higher than the ground so when the stiching software does it's bussiness it put him in and NOT his shadow :)
