Whos gonna buy the new Grand Theft Auto when it comes out? From the looks of the trailer this is gonna be the best video game ever. I'm sold on it just because "Welcome to the Jungle" is playing on the trailer. Between Gran Turismo 4 and the new GTA I don't think I will need to ever buy anymore video games.

do you guys really consider grand theft auto THAT good of a game? Yeah, its fun and all but GTA compared to a game like GT4 or Halo 2 is just unfair.

It may not have amazing graphics and all that, but fun is fun, and you can't argue with that. Snake Eater looks awesome too. I just reserved GT4 too.

I'll get it at some point, but probably after the price comes down. Sorry, but no game's worth $50 to me.

I don't have a problem paying $50 for a game I enjoy; being that there aren't that many games that I care about it's not really a problem (most months there aren't any game releases that interest me, so $50 a month isn't much--food cost more).

GTA games are fun, and San Andreas looks fairly improved; for those that don't know, the game is at least 5-times the size of Vice City, and features three cities separated by country side.

I'll buy it defenitly! bought the previous ones, GTA3 and ViceCity, and i canīt wait for this one to come out, its got nothing to do with Halo or GT4, its a diferent kind of game, but i'l buy GT4 for sure! and i'l enjoy both as much as i can. There aren't any more games with that kind of quality.

And i also wont buy more games this year, have to wait for special games like these.

the game is going to be cool, you'll be able to go to the hairdresser or to some restaurant, or to ride a bike. very big variety of cars, motorcycles, planes, helicopters and boats

It's like Sims... but more violent, in 3D, and with amazing cars... yeah...

Just when I was really getting out of gaming... GT4, GTASA, Sims 2 all out or coming out, and for some stupid reason I've gone back to multiplayer Raven Shield... Ugh. I've just signed away all of my free time.

Ive got GT4 on order, halo 2 isnt going to be that revoloutionary as the first one was, so thats a no for me, its basically the same as the first accept you can destroy the vehicles and differen weapons.

Still not sure that GTA : SA is going ot be that different from GTA : VC. I mean it will be different but not too much ;)

I'am just guessing but i dont think you looked into all of the new aspects of Halo2 and GTA SA because they both have many outstanding differences when compared to Halo and GTA VC. They are deffinatly worth $50, in fact i would pay about $70 for each but im a hardcore gamer anyway. :D

Just a side note: another addition to the GTA's "freedom" characteristics is that, in GTA SA you will be able to go into peoples houses with a ski mask, beat down anyone who is in there, if any, and then steal something from their house like a T.V. and then turn around and sell it on the street to make some cash. You can also visit some casinos and gamble that money(the casinos will have almost every game you can find in a real-life casino today). If you are lucky enough you will become a high roller and earn respect amongst others and tons of dough!!
But thats just a small new aspect of GTA SA.

What i meant was that Halo 2 is not going to be anything like as special as halo 1 was, when that came out it wasnt like many other things on the market then, Halo 2 from what ive seen doesnt seem to have moved on that much from the first.

I know that there are a lot more things taht you can do on GTA : SA but do we really want to be playing in a casino on that type of game ? i dont really :o However i do like the idea about going into more houses (not all but more :) ) also like the idea that you can get fat :p. Ok so i might of been slightly harsh on the GTA side of things but ...but... ah well i said it i was too harsh on GTA, i mean ive got it ordered for gods sake :p

GTA SA looks very interesting, I think that the selling point for me of this game is the longevity, you can come back to it months after buying it and still be entertained.

Is anyone into Pro Evolution Soccer? The best and only football game for the PS2.
