Oh, that's part of the import duty on fast imports. The memo went out last month on extra taxation for superior imported machinery. If the VIN# starts with a 'J' and the car in question can spank a 'Vette, then extra taxation is to be collected on such vehicle. It's being rolled out as Project:Use extreme prejudice against 'Vette killers.

In reality, probably just a copper who got wasted(off-duty) by an EVO, doling out some payback. :rolleyes:
