I'm putting good money that the C5R (if it runs) will win. Remember when it did the 1-2 finish a couple years back. I miss the yellow paint, the blue doesn't look as good :(

against a sea of Ferraris . not a chance .. there will be 550 from Veloqx(Care) .. 550 from BMS ..and probably 575's from JMB .. i'll give them ... 0.6% chances :)

Is anyone a little worried about the state of the prototype classes (900, 675). There hardly seems to be any totally new cars for us to get really excited about. Bentley have retired the glorious Speed 8's and we now seem left with the likes of the Panoz and Dome Judd's etc which aren't exactly setting the world on fire. The only really consistent top performers in the various sportscar series around the world are the Audis, even though they are all privately run these days, and they are over three years old now. I fear it could be the same old story of Audi domination which would be a step backward IMHO. The prototypes are supposed to be the Blue Ribbon, creme de la creme cars, but it's shaping up as though they will be the least exciting classes!

the main problem is the new regulations .. that will come to full effect in 2005 .. and so many manufacturers opted not to build cars to the interim regs .. in LMP900(LMP1) . but in the LMP675(750 LM2) there are new cars . Lola is only one of those...
