View Full Version : What percentage of UCP'ers actually own cars?

This should be a fairly simple poll :)

Please vote in this one, and only if you have a car registered in your own name (or if you just own it, and it's not registered).

I'm excited to see what the results will be like... any predictions?

Thanks :)

I'm going to guess 50%-50% if people answer truthfully. I have an unmentionable company car...for now.

I voted yes; however, I can't drive it yet. I'll be driving it in 10 months.. right now my father and I are replacing the transmission.

i own a 95 eclipse(which is goin to be my brother's after i fix my 240sx), and well.....the 240sx which is bein fixed(pain in the....yeh, you know where, sincei gotta change the damn cylinder head cause of puttin bad timing last time(timing chain)).
tho both aren't at my name cause my family thinks that the insurance would be lower if it was at either of my parents names.

I got an Audi 90 Q 20V, it isnt registered on my own name because of the insurance costs, I am 21, and when u are 24 or younger u have to pay 4 times as much as when u are not. That's because they think younger ppl make accidents faster (dont know the stats). Anyway I drive so much (for work too) that I can go twice around the world :P, about 80,000 km.

Just bought a 2004 Mazda6 and traded in my 7 yeard old Sebring JXi. It was leaking oil, air-con broke, and millions of little things that wasn't working right.

I can't afford it at the moment.

I am pretty much funding myself at uni...

Also, all of the car that I want, and could just about afford to buy would be uninsurable :(

Interesting to note that as I post this there is exactly a two thirds majority of UCPers who own cars

Escort, Caravan lemon. don't worry, i'm in the process of taking pics of the inside out of my Escort (i'm to ashamed of my lemon to post it on UCP but I decided to take 1 anyway, so you can see what a lemon REALLY looks like.

i think it would be interesting to see the number or percentage of members with a certain car company

like how many people own a Ford, or Chevy, or Mazda or whatever car it is.

shall i make a poll?

That's because it took two weeks for someone to let you take pictures of their escort and you got lucky and took one of a random caravan.
1,000th post :D :D :D
