The Arnage T is better than the R.
My personal favorites are
1. Maybach 57
2. S 600
3. Bentley Arnage T
4. E 55 AMG

I'll take the A8, not neccesarily cause I think it is superior to the others. I just think it's beautifull.

Good, I am the owner, but do I drive it myself, or does my chauffeur collect me everyday?

first case: Jaguar XJ
second case: Citroen CX Prestige

Maybach 57 all the way, now all they need for it is a AMG package in the future heheh...and maybe an engine upgrade :D
im completely clueless as to why you dont have the mercedes S63 (biturbo v12 640hp??) in the poll?...its undoubtedly the best looking sport sedan out there... third best is the A8.

oh,maybach 57 AMG!
and thats S65 not S63 with 612 bhp, i prefer the S55 AMG,S65 with 612 bhp for me is useless,which has a speed limiter,and top speed is 155 mph....(like the S430 S500 S600 and S55)

The 500 to keep the equipment and not have to pay for the engine but if I had enough for an S600 or S65 AMG I would opt for them. ;)

I was wowed about a S430 that pulled up in a car park next to me. Did you know that the S500 was considered as the best road car in production of its time by many people. The luxury class will always be led by the S-class.

The S class has been around for a while, time for a redesign.
You are right though, S class is one of the best, even with the redesigning of the 7 series the S class still sells more. :D

7-series isnt that serious rival for S-class,
The new A8 is really awesome car and can be a really serious rival for S-class.....

The maybach might have all kinds of special equipments, but when it comes to luxury sedans its also very important to have a great pedigree.... and the maybach doesnt have such thing.... but the rolls is THE luxury brand :D

I disagree.

With this state of mind, would you bar the Koenigsegg CC and the Pagani Zonda from being classified as being one of the best Supercars?

I think that "Pedigree" is a totally overrated notion. It obviously helps a company if they've had a lot of experience, but if some start-up company can do something just as well, then they should be considered equal.

Besides, the Maybach was created by Mercedes. With your system of reasoning, are you going to deny the pedigree of the world's oldest car manufacturer?

I have a very deep love for maseratis. The luxuary, the exclusiness the wonderful v8 engine...and the fact that we have had them race in our local touring car series in the 80s (driven no less the by Kevin Bartlette albeiet very unsucsessfully) while id prefer the Torifo in in looks the Quattroporte would have to be my faveorite on offer here.

You can't compare the Maybach, Rolls and Bentley to the rest. They are by far superior.
Out of those three the Maybach is the best.
The maybach 62 is even better

As much as I like the new Maser, I think that they have really missed the opportunity to make a great car. :(

Every road test I have seen absolutely slates the gearbox.
The Cambiocorsa paddleshift 'box, with its electronic clutch gives disjointed, jerky, uncomfortable shifts, rather than the smoothness of a true auto, which is what you want for relaxed luxury cruising.

This wouldn't be a problem if a normal Auto was available, but Maserati knows best apparently.

The E55 has to be the hands down winner. It's superfast and it really is a sedan.

This was also confirmed in Auto Motor und Sport, but it seems to work pretty well in manual mode, which is nice because this is a car to drive and not to be driven in.

I voted Phantom because it has presence. The Maybach may be bigger, sure, but it's only an inflated S-class rather than a Greek temple on wheels like the Phantom. Space, luxury, Balmoral-sized exterior, British understatement inside, and otherworldly pace for escaping assassins.
I also would really like to be driven in Charles de Gaulle's Citroen DS ,licence plate 1 PR 75 and bonnet tricolors still on it, through Texas, to see how Bush's buddies take it having a big "forn" limo with French flag on it drive past, then beat their pickups from the lights in "escape gear" (with that special Maserati engine, and the plastic body, it wasn't as slow as your run-of-the-mill sedan)
