who here has owned more than 2 vehicles of the same maker?
do you consider yourself to be brand loyal?
if you had about an extra $25000 to spend on another car to replace your current ride, would you buy something of the same make?

i myself am on my 3rd BMW E30, but i would buy a non-BMW anyday if it fit my tastes/budget (i did own a Plymouth Laser Turbo for a couple months but that was just a second car that i bought cheap and sold for profit)
but my parents have owned a E23 and a E38 7ers over the years so maybe i am brand loyal

oh, and if i had an extra $25k to spend, i think id buy a used NSX or Evo RS

I can say that I am a very faithfulll Citroen addict (see thread: what care have you owned), but in case I had to I would currently not buy a new one. Could be waiting for the C6 (that is not a Corvette), but not too sure, I may not need such a big vehicle anymore.

LOL!:D

I think i would buy whatever suits me. IE: not a small car. although i call myself a holden man im not so blindly faithful as to not consider a magna or a falcon or even an avalon (bit expensive though)

So no im not make faithful... call me a whore if you will:D

I own a BMW (my first) and I'm pretty sure my next or additional car will also be a BMW.

I'm not even a little brand loyal. Some companies I like and others I don't, even then there are exceptions. I don't like Toyota but I'd consider the IS300, I like Mazda but don't care for the RX-8. I like particular models rather than makes.

However, there are brands that I defintely wouldn't consider.

I have owned 6 Holdens , had two as company cars, Three Toyotas, one Nissan company car, and Two Datsuns. I would an will buy another Holden and Toyota. I am kind of brand loyal to Holden and I will buy another Landcruiser to replace my aging 80 series cause it does everthing I need it to.

I have owned 2 Fords, though more by chance than by design. I am happy with my Fords. But I would consider pretty much any marque as long as it's classic. I'm not one of those Ford guys that hates on GM's and Mopars, my top 3 fav muscle cars are a Plymouth, a Chevy, and a Ford, again not by design, but just because I happen to like them.

If ever there was a brand I am loyal to at all though, it's Cadillac. They were the Standard of the World and it is the car I strive to be in someday. It is the prize that is mine to capture.

I owned 3 Fiat's, 1 Mazda, 1 Seat, 1 Renault. In present I still own a Fiat but if i had such money I think I would go for a BMW 320td.

I may not need such a big vehicle anymore.
All you need is a two-seater (red or yellow) with a transverse V8, in which I can take you out driving.

Or something small and preferably green with a transverse mid mounted Rover K-Series engine.

well, i dont own a car yet, but my dad really is brand loyal.he owned some fiats, fords and VW's (ritmo, escort, jetta), before he bought a citroen BX, he really liked it and had two, then he bought a saxo, and later a xsara(2000)liked it, and bought a newer xsara(2003).he still has it, but is thinking of buying a c4(if funds allow to), and he really wants to get an C5, but funds dont allow that...im expensive you know..lol...i guess you can say that is pretty brand loyal, he even took a subscription to a citroen only magazine.... (not that i mind, i read that, plus many other car mags...(5 subscriptions in total))

I used to be very brand loyal in high school, die hard Chevy man. But as I've grown up, I've owned Fords, Datsun, Mopar, Audi. I've learned there's more to cars than Chevy. My dream car is Ferrari, mainly the F430, so yes, I am brand loyal I guess.

Hondas are damn reliable, and can raise a smile if you know how to drive it. I'd happily buy another, but preferably a sportier model... a Civic Type-R, or Accord Type-R. Of course, and RS6 will rate damned high, along with many other Audis. I guess I'm pretty brand loyal.

I have had great luck with my Fords. I've owned nothing but Fords for the last 15 years and never regretted it. The vehicles I have owned have performed well and lasted a long time. I will reward the company with my loyalty.

I am open to any/all cars, so long as they suit my tastes. The name doesn't mean much to me at all.

Most people wouldn't guess that given my current situation, but I swear it's the truth. :)

i don't mind hondas, the dealership gives good support: they completely replaced the aircon unit and the boot cable, for free, even tho my car is 10 years old!
i may be buying a honda integra type R in February

well, my family has owned a bunch of volkswagens over the past couple decades. also, Toyota's before that, and I now drive a Toyota MR2. so I suppose you could say yes, although I'm fairly open minded and so are my folks. Let's just say I'll never own something made by chrysler, unless it's an old Reliant that costs $100 for something I can just go and trash for shits and giggles.
