no way thats a mustang.....mind you the guy who designed the original stang was an italian american.

To the rescue, here I am, I did not hear you call before: This is a Fiat 850 Spider, launched in 1965, together with a very nice coupe version, (actually my father's first car). The Spider was kept in production until the second half of the seventies. The Spider was designed by Bertone the Coupe was an in-house fiat design. The Coupe was readily adopted by Abarth for further tuning, running with 1, 1.3,1.6 and even 2 litre engines. Shown is a 1600 OT.
The grille shown on the pic is indeed of a Mustang, re-dressed by Bertone in 1965, so I presume the pictures comes from some sort of Bertone brochure.
