Another weekend another rally :)

Here are some pics from the Angus Classic Rally.
This event ran for 2 days and was a mixture of navigation, autotest and forestry stages in day and night.

Not as many pictures as previous events as we were a little more focussed ( no more in-car shots ) and a little bit busier - you'll find out why later.

Also, slow getting them out of the camera, bloody Kodak cameras and software are cr@p :(

More of the Fulvia plus video "in action" - he had a problem with the handbrake caliper locking on ( made his handbrake turns a little "fraught" :) )

Us :)
The bloody thing cut out 3 times with ignition problems :(

Still haven't managed to find any pics or vid of us PUSHING it over a stage finish.

hmm, did I enjoy the event ??

Well hsving to push a car over the finish line wasn't funny - do you KNOW how much an MGB weighs :(
Also, as these pics show, we tore the exhaust open on one of the forest stages. managed to tie it up with cable tie to get to the exit where we parked over a gully and were able to work on it to manage to finish the event. Sounded 'throaty' :) NOTE driver 'fannying around' at the rear !!!!!

Loved it :) Especially as typical real rallying everyone stopped to help and get the car safe and running again - as we did for others. Results come secondary ( i'm only saying that of course cos we missed out having taken max time on the 2 stages :( )

That last pic is like one of a member of our club who had his pic in motoring news (damn that was a long repetative sentence :p) it showed them like ther were ata junction and looking through the side window, we were all sat there on club night trying to figure out why both the nav AND the driver were looking through the drivers window, when they arrived they informed us that, that was the direction they were going, they were so sidewarys on the slippy stage that they were looking basically through the drivers window to see forwards :p

Ok yours isnt quite that sideways but your both looking to the left ;)

That must be something!! Night forest stages is one of those ingredients lacking in nowadays rallys. British motorsport will always be the best.
