I know what you mean, a few years back i got to stand in the staging area by the christmas tree at the local drag strip, with two dragsters with straight exhaust 540ci v-8 at the line!! It was wild.

looks like a replica to me...

mostly likely not the original GT40...looks kinda like the now Ford GT...which itself is almost identical to the GT40...

I'll guess on the right, since whoever's in the black sweatshirt is in a few of the other pics. If they're yours theres no way you could be in the picture.

hahahaha this is funny
im the guy on the left in the black, the guy in red is my best friend

and the last pic with us both in it, was taken by the owner of the car, whom i had been talking to,

anyways, it was not an totally original, the tires and wheels were new, and obviously the interior was updated

No, I think he's talking about the GT40 vs the GT. The new Ford is called the GT. The original was called the GT40. This one is the GT and not the GT40, Jello.

I believe its a replica/ kit car, since its a roush crate engine, the gauges are all aftermarket brand, the interior is very different, this one is N/A while the new gt is supercharged.

werty

well actually its neither

its not a real GT or GT40 or a kit car

Its got parts from both the GT and GT40, and this particular "GT 40" is 4 inches shorter(height) and 14 inch shorter(lenght) than the new GT

anyways, they said it was mostly GT 40 parts, cleaned up a little bit, and then they threw in some "nowaday" goodies, like custom exhuast, speakers, tires, wheels, etc.

It's a real car, but not an original GT40. It's probably just built and it looks just like that.

Hi Guys, a week ago we had the Classic Adelaide Rally down under and they had an original GT40, an F40 and a Garrera GT with US plates on it, among a lot of other rare and local cars, around 200 cars in total. Simply amazing to see so many great cars in one place competing for trophys and the honour and not for money.

It was my first sighting of all three cars mentioned, so I was like a kid in lolly shop.

but is good to see a Broadley being involved in the updated design. Sons normally do things even better than their fathers :)
