View Full Version : MY first chop

Here it is! My first chop! I didn't do much to it, because I just want to get used to how everything works

Smoothed out lines
New rims
side skirt
smoothed gas cap

I originally tried to do a burnout, so the reflection of the rear wheel shows it spinning. I screwed the burnout beyond belief, so I went back to this.

Try not to use the blur tool to much, for some reason the rims look kinda grainy. Just clear those smoothed areas up and it would look good.

Not bad for a first, the lines and the sideskirt are dodgy but you'll get better w/ time. Best thing to do is usually airbrush a thin strip of matching-color paint over the line and then rub out the line w/ the smudge tool.

haha it took me something like 4 hours to make this POS. I just got photoshop, though, so I had to get used to the buttons

not bad for ur 1st
but its smudged way to much
try copying + pasting to overlap the lines, practice should do it ;)
good job! great effort in those 4 hours, keep it clean around the edges.
feel free to join my forum, we have tutorials now. :D

I just remembered, does anyone have any tips for using the lasso tool? I totally suck at using it.

Use the polygonal lasso tool (in the toolbar, click and hold the lasso tool and it will give you the option of selection the lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool, or the magnetic lasso tool) and then zoom in real close and follow whatever line you need w/ the poly-lasso.

It's spinning because I originally tried to make a burnout, and I stupidly placed the spinning wheel on the background, instead of its own layer.
