Hi Wouter, i see you have my car on the ultimate car page. That is a bit of a privilege I guess.
The car is the 1908 Mercedes chassis no. 371. I can send you my history file, so it can be a bit more accurate and I can send some additional photos if you need them.
The car now has a correct radiator, so it looks more the part. And we are about to restore the engine, and redo the guards on the car. I believe the engine has the original 100 yr old Pistons, Rods and Crank.
The running gear is all original, including the wire wheels now being over 100 yrs old and on the car in 1914.

Hello, just noticed your Porsche GT3 pictures from last year, (12/16/2013) include both the present gen. GT3 (991 in white), as well as the previous gen. (997 facelift in blue). The blue car pictures belong in your report on the GT3 updated Feb. 2nd, 2009. BR!

I am interested in your post on the only surviving Lightweight GT40. I own AM GT40/1. The car has neer been lost or modified after its time with Alan Mann or H & M. The racecar was damaged in a crash. But because of the crash damage, the racecar was not changed in any way since the late 60's. It is nearing the end of a restoration. Let me know if you want me to provide any more data about this racecar to you; or if I should reply to your post. I could send my posting data to you first.

Hi Wouter, I rejoined hoping to recieve your regular newsletters again, the last one I got was in 24th of June 2009. I haven't been able to figure out how to get back on the list for that one, are you still doing it? I found it very informative and the photos of course were always awesome.
