Hello Henk4, I'm new here and just stumbled across this thread about the 200 BMW 1800Ti/SAs ...

I was wondering where you got the serial number for the Bonham's Auction Ti/Sa. We've got an 1800 Ti/SA photo album on our Facebook page, and posted with the images of the Bonham auction Ti/SA is documentation that refers to the car's s/n as being #97, which I had kind of assumed meant #995 097. Here's the link to the pdf file that refers to it as #97..

And here's a link to our Ti/SA photo album..

Any light that you could shine on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Life is interesting... still revolves around cars, nowhere near as much as it used to. Now the proud owner of three Honda Civics... one 2.0 Type S, 2 1.4s... and I produce music for people, as well as running a bar. All good fun! Yourself?

Thanx so much for your quick response. I have visited the website but found no Register (owners Register) ??? -
I did contact Intermeccanica, and Mr. Henry Reisner referred me to someone who might have an interest - he actually wanted a convertible - but it gave me the opportunity to gain a lot of information into the details of our Omega. Ours has a unique history and is, in fact, registered as a 'sports coupe' (I have the original bill of sale from Steve Wilder) since the name "Omega" was owned by Oldsmobile.
If you can direct me to Mr. Tim Marriott, I shall contact him. Otherwise, will re-establish contact with Mr. Reisner to see if he has further suggestions.
Thanx so much.

Good morning, Henk4 - I have seen some of your previous posts regarding the Intermeccanica Omega (Griffith). Do you know anyone interested in purchasing one? We have one that we are selling as my husband had a stroke and can no longer drive. Any info regarding contacts ... or where I even begin... would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.
7. Hi Marco,
Allen wandered why I had not seen 72-3, which has been quite active over the past 15 years in European historic racing. He therefore suggested that I may have seen that car in stead of #6. I know Wouter has it as #6, but I am not sure whether he has a shot of the plate as a sort of confirmation. I'll ask him when he gets back home from LeMans tomorrow. The Donington collection is being gradually sold off since the dead of Tom Wheatcroft late last year. Wouter went there for a visit 14 days after his death, I don't know whether the 72 was still there.

Hi Pieter,
I do not know if you received my reply to your message about Allen on the 72 today. I think if you report on 72-6 at one with the big Texaco and is now in Japan Allen make a mistake to identify it as 72 -3.
I can confirm it after having examinate over 60 pics of the car from 2002 to 2009.
That is also confirmed by MotorSport magazine in October 2002 and by Wouter Melissen details for 72 Ultimatecarpage.
Allen also places in USA the 72-8. But that car until 2009 was part of the Donington Collection as one of the most important pieces for the museum for many years.
That they have sold it in this recent months?
Best Regards

Allen runs the site: - racing car history
He is currently involved in bringing together a model of all Lotus F1 cars for the Snetterton Lotus Reunion on June 20th. I know him personally.

I knows his useful site.
It was helpfully for me for racing data of the 72's frames.
In his site he wrote the destination of the chassis but with the country only.
I know that #2 of Rindt after being preserved as it was after the crash until a few years ago.
Then the new British owner had intended to restore the car on four wheels.
Then nothing news.
I'd like to know the evolution of it.

The link for the attachments appear only during a creation of topic, not when we answer the simplest, already existing topic to delete(eliminate) is everything from my comments and then I would redo something appropriate(clean)
