What Do You Think?
Has anyone else noticed that the Kia Rio has started to make some noise in the automotive market? I’ve been working with Kia lately and everyone has been talking about the JD Power award they recently won. It came a shock to me cuz I like Kia cars but its not something from them that I expected. However, it is cool to see a car company working hard on improving their cars and their image for real. Anyone know what I’m talking about and agree with me?

people buy it because its CHEAP!
and it looks better than the other CHEAP! cars like the hyundai accent. Which quite frankly dont take much to be won over by other CHEAP! rivals in the market.

JD Power and Associates is becoming more and more useless as a measure of a car's "quality."
-
Initial quality is useless.

What does this guy work for Kia or something?

Kia has seemed to try to improve their quality lately. I can't say they have or they have not because I haven't spent much time around them but I think that they should be given a fair chance to at least try, right?
That said I still wouldn't buy one because I don't really like the styling and still remember the ones with poor quality.

They mostly sell cheap run arounds, which is going to get them places when other manufacturers are concentrating on stealing some of the SUV pie.

As far as I'm concerned any automaker who doesn't race their cars, isn't worthy. :D

I concur.
