I love seeing pictures of classic Japanese cars. They are so overlooked and rare (in the NY are at least). Keep 'em coming. Isuzus, Mitsus, Hondas, Daihatsus, etc...keep 'em coming. I Love it.
My dad owned one of these when he was young. He said that there was no rev limit for the rotary. :D Thanks for these great pics. Can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees these pictures.

Do you have pictures of the mazda 818, it looks pretty similar to the 4 door Savanna you posted and my parents used to have one

Do you have a pic of it? They had different names on different markets.
Only found 2 lo res pics of it.

wrong the rx3 had a 2 rotor 12a motor the 818 came with a 4 cyl motor there the same car diffrent engine and front styling

no, smxi is right and you are wrong: eg in Australia the piston-engined version of RX3 was badged 808 not 818
