Ah, that's it! 1932 Ford Model 19 protoype. Thank you very much to all three of you.:)
Nota, excellent website there. ;)
Ooops, sorry mate I didn't realise that my link does not directly show the 'Model Identification' page (containing the photo I allude to) within that site :o
Btw I love the attractive (truck?) wheel at left of your picture

To share, here's another great UK webite on Fords. Weirdly this one specializes on .. of all things .. 1960s ~ '80's aussie Falcons!
Quality content with extensive - and accurate - info, especially this superb 2-page in-depth extravaganza just on their engines

My question was: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/824025-post1451.html
And the answer is: Byfield Special based on Jaguar XJS --> Specials
Just if someone was interested. ;)

me too, I don't remember to have ever seen such a car.
reminds me of a Wiesmann, a Z4 and a Carrera GT all put together. :p
that soft top seems a temporary remedy until you find the nearest garage though

it isn't the car posted above right?
I searched it on the internet and found some renderings of it.
if you have some more info and pics you could post them on a new thread and keep us informed on the development of the project, it seems kinda interesting.
Welcome on UCP! :)

I found it too (Zandonella Motors - Coupe), but it doesn't look like this roadster almost at all...
And car designed in USA, Australian company and tested with swiss plates? Quite tricky.

Ulimator has posted Zandonella some time ago with a request for an info, IIRC, so it's not the latest request. Look somewhere about a month ago or so.

I understood your post quite well, I was more referring to the next post made by Ecnelis :)
And the request, indeed placed by ulimator, was made much earlier then I supposed - http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/807815-post1308.html
