Just wondering, did anyone else think Enzo when they first saw F60 in the thread title?

Yeah, I was thinking it was a resurected thread or something at first.
I was thinking of something that would come after Enzo. I've seen spy shots of the car already.
And thank you for more pictures, Revo!
Suka! Your DP is one of my favourite looking F1 cars of all time. Got any high res?
No sorry, I don't keep many car photos on my PC. The image of my avatar was only small too, I just wanted something before his final race.
The car is a MP4-19 though, so maybe if you search that you might find something.
I love the car itself. Wonderful shape! And yeah, it really reminds of the ´90s cars. But the wings are terrible, front too wide, rear too narrow...
When will F1Cars look like this again...
The rear wing in proportion to the front is laughably small, but I like the design of the new cars a lot. FIA vote for change 2009, headed by Barack Obama.
I like it 'cept for the rear wing (of course).
The low front wing is very cool.
It looks different that previous years and i like it. Will it work though is the main question.
Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali has revealed that the Scuderia have yet to decide whether they will use KERS at the opening stint of the 2009 season.
This year's Championship will see the introduction of the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) into Formula One. However, not all the teams are set to use the new device at the start of the campaign.
Ferrari is just one team that may not with Domenicali revealing that the Italian outfit are behind in developing their KERS device. As a result the Scuderia may start the new season without it.
"When we realise that the performance guaranteed by KERS is up to expectations, then it is our task to use it," Domenicali said during the launch of Ferrari's new F60. "This is our goal if we want to win the World Championship.
"Today's presentation is important for us, because this is the first set of tests (for KERS) on a race track. I imagine that we will have problems, the typical problems linked to a race track, and we will have to solve them in a different way.
"Tests are reduced, we are down to 15,000km and there are no tests during the season, so we have to be as efficient as possible. We will have to use the testing benches a lot more than in the past. I expect to see problems and issues.
"The first objective to meet is to have a car that is highly reliable. Reliability played a very heavy burden on us last season, so the first objective is to understand the potential of KERS and then solve all the reliability problems."

Apparently Felipe thinks the new car is "cute." :)
I'm wondering why the FIA hasn't allowed the cars to be wider than the current 1,8 meters. F1 cars were usually 2 meters wide in the past (I think), which will obviously increase mechanical grip a great deal as well.
The wings can be kept as is which will probably make the front wings appear more proportional to the car, but the rear wing in it's current form is cursed to always look out of place.
The car itself looks great I think, very slick.
Concerning that KERS situation... One rather well known website about endurance racing wrote about a deal between Peugeot and Ferrari - this year's 908's will use Scuderia's KERS system, and it would be something like test sessions for SF during the season, which, of course is prohibited within F1 championship. AFAIK their KERS is just not yet completely ready to run...

Do you have a link to those spy shots?
As already posted by others, I thought this year's cars were going to b worst, not that the look is their main aspect.
It reminds me of the F1 Ferrari driven by Prost, the F91 (right?)
I love this car.
I'm so excited about the upcoming season and the new Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The Ferraris driven by Prost were the 642 and the 643 in the 1991 season.
