There was an article in a magazine or something that said mid 1990's Pontiac Bonneville's were the best bang for your buck used cars around. I think they said the Bonneville's in white held the best value, usually from the year 1996.
Not an Auto-X-Bonne!!! :p

C'mon you know you want to..

what about an EVO III or the same generation GSR?
-
The GSRs came before the EVOs. And I'd go for the GSR myself, they're awesome sleepers.

We didn't get Evolutions until 2003. So the earliest is the Evo. VIII.

We had a green 1997 Auto-X-Bonne, and my parents hated it.
edit: Though I'd really like to get an Audi, I think I'll have better luck finding a GOOD BMW for the $$ rather than an Audi...

Theres more to a genuine audi (particularly owning one) than first appears.
:D

to be fair my most recent experience with an audi was a current A4 with an auto as a courtesy car.. left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak haha :D

Did your A4 courtesy car have FWD (fail wheel drive?) :p
-
yeah it was just a base FWD A4 auto. honestly..i actually think a toyota aurion was a better drive LOL :D
maybe i'm just biased against auto now? i thought the tiptronic boxster was pretty rubbish too

Save your self the rolaids and go the quiggs route by buying a GTI. They can be had for pennies and seem reliable.

If you would have driven an A4 Quattro, I'm sure your experience would have been better.
And early TipTronic equipped VAG products had some issues.

I think that the main problem with modern Audis is the steering feel.
There just isn't any.

Zytek Fan, good luck with the car search.
By the way, what is the difference between a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS and a GSR. I believe the GSR model has better car features than the RS model.
