I want a Skoda TDI! The Fabia vRS is a nice model...
Yeah, it is! I just love the looks of that one, and the engine (of course). I hear nothing but praise for it from my best friend, who drives a 1.9TDi A4, and another friend who's dad just bought one of these pocket rockets.
We dont have Skodas in Canada.
That's a real shame. Seriously, you guys are missing out- it's VW at cheaper prices... :D

Have you bought it yet?
I still prefer the Swift though. Cheap, fast and quite frugal. Or perhaps the new Mazda 2, however I'll wait until all the spec is released.

I won't go for the Fabia vRS until I'm about 20. So far, I'm mapping out my VAG tree...
- 2008: SEAT Ibiza TDi PD Sport
- 2009: Skoda Fabia vRS
- 2012: Audi A4 convertible
- 2019: Audi RS6 & Audi S4 (2003, both models...)
- 2023: Sell the S4 and buy either an RS2 or a 1997-2001 RS4.

I agree with Ferrer's suggestion. Or, if you don't like the new Swift you could buy a Suzuki Swift GTI. They are cheap and reliable and since you will have spare money left you can put a turbo in the Swift GTI... :D

Anyways, get a VW Jetta TDI. The Mk4s are getting cheaper these days. My daily driver. 800kms to the tank, up to 1000 if you're cruising flat highway.
That is honestly your best option.
Here are two in Calgary, spending 20 seconds looking:

That first one is a pretty good deal too.

Thanks for clearing that up.

You're right from about 2012 onwards...
