You know.. We got our own Stelvio her in norway:D
It's called Trollstigen.. and it's a must if visiting norway;)
Edit: bigest pic I could find:o
From Portalegre to Évora, in a Porsche 356...no curves, thanks...
And the music you'd be listening too? If your car has a radio that is...
I'll open my vindow and listen to the mix of the exhaust and the tires screaming;)
Niiice... I'd listen to some soft Jazz in my NSX...:)
anything(hip hop or rnb) that makes my head bang like f.i.l.a -lil scrappy buy your copy at some place now
Yes because that will definatly lighten the mood of an Old Morgan driving down a country road. Yo my Ho's and N****'s....
Not good driving music, trust me.
hmm a ford gt40 would be nice but my dream would be a ferrari 330gto if we can have racecars, and if in yellowstone park without speed limits, because the speed limit there is 15 and 20 in some areas.
That's so that you don't die and fall off a cliff.
im goin with the 288 gto evo in NYC.niitetime.times square
Interesting:D

Didn't you posted a own pic once? Or was it Wouter's pic? I've attached it.
And the second pic is probably how my scenery would look like, an E30 M3 and some open road between the fields. With some tight corners. Mountain roads are fun as well offcourse.
Much as I'm sure either of the Melissens would like to claim that first photo you attached, I believe it was taken by Gus Gregory for the August 2003 edition of EVO Magazine. :)
EDIT: here's the article it's taken from - http://www.evo.co.uk/cargrouptests/cargrouptests/39122/cliff_hanger.html
I can't narrow it down to one road or one car, so here are a few ideal situations of mine. Jaguar XK120 on the Jebel Hafeet mountain road in the UAE, a De Tomaso Vallelunga on the back roads of Pennsylvania, the MG R2 anywhere-just getting to drive it is enough, Lancia Stratos in the Alps, Lotus 23 lost in scotland, and finally-this post could go on for days-a '66 TVR Griffith through London at night.
I'm struggling to pic between:
1) 4 1/2 litre supercharged 1931 Bentley on the Muslanne at night;
2) Aston DB6 Vantage on a costal road from Nth Scotland, then through Wales, and back to the coast road for the strech to Portsmith;
3) Aston DP215 on a certain road around the Neurberg Castle.

For number 1... That's an awful loud car to have a peaceful drive in...

3 litre V12, top down, oh the aural delight...with the cliffs and tunnels to better enjoy the motor's music.
No do the whole Chicago Star Wars thing from Ferris Buellers day off lmao:D.

You stole that location from me!! :D
You stole that location from me!! :D
The road's open to the public so not up for theft... No, I picked it because I've driven it a dozen times ;)
We can share the road, you just couldn't get me to steal your cars :D
No doubt ...Ferrari 250LM.
A winding road in Tuscany with open top.....
How about a beautiful drive down Ocean Blvd in Cali with the top down on your red F355 Spyder, with a beautiful girl in the passenger seat???
Or maybe even in the drivers seat:)

Is that where the Italian Job (original) ended? It'd be great to drive there in an S500, weather permitting of course. The origin of Honda... :sigh: :D

What is that car by the way?
I think it is a De Tomaso Pantera ?gt5?
What is that car by the way?
It's my 1993 Pantera Si Targa.

So you just need to find the road :p Nice car btw, I hope one day to own a Pantera GTS
I'd drive a green Lamborghini Miura SV, from Paris to London, with stages at Cannes, Florence, Zurich, Munich and the Nurburgring.

No worry, we will find the road.
Tomorrow morning after breakfast we leave for Tuscany.
A Maserati Quattroporte Mk I on the twisty motorways which connect France and Italy, stopping at Montecarlo.
MG 1936 compressor
I'm actually happy close to home. I drove these roads pretty often. I live in the city but I can get away in under 20 minutes and theres usually no one out there. I'm also happy with my car. I do wish it were faster at times, though!

MG TF - I am not any more in a hurry......
Mattmacklind- what car is that? It's nice that you live so close to your dream car and road.
I don't know if its my dream road but its close enough. Maybe just a little smoother. The way there and back is nice too. Its one of those roads you just keep driving on and it loses its name, becomes a route #, and you're kind of remote. The car is a '71 MGB GT. Bored .060 over, mild cam, Lucas sports coil, polyuerethane bushings, heavy duty shock valving on original lever arms, rally springs in the rear, heavier anti-sway bar in front,
15" Minilites w/ 196/60 series tires, overdrive transmission. Its bark is worse than its bite, its still a puppy.
Wow... sounds like a sweet ride! Must be a blast to drive.
1973 Lotus Elan Sprint, hood down, scarf on, having fun in the corners! :D
http://www.rudibacher.at/images/Rindt.jpg
Believe it or not, in 1973 the Sprint was faster than anything Ferrari or Porsche were selling and the handling is superior even today. It is the only car I would swap my +2S for...

I'm with you on that. But since I can't afford that dream, I emulate it in the MX-5. :)
