The 300C with the 220bhp diesel engine used to retail for 32grand, but it's now up to 43. I guess the promotion is over.
Over here only the 300C Touring is still available, from 43.000 as over there.
I was thinking about the new 300/Thesis though.

How the hell does China have more votes than France, the UK, Sweden, South Korea, and Australia combined????
Honestly, I wouldn't be terribly put off by either Italy, Japan, Germany, or the US getting the nod........but please, don't make me drive a death trap knock-off from China.

Hmmm. It is a pretty specific poll question. No confidence in UK & Swedish makes (a shame), little interest in offerings from Korean or sadly, the French, and Australia is hopelessly home market. Two votes for China is hardly reason to fear world domination from their automobile industry. Now, if you were worried about the solar and battery industry...

The design remains British from the design team at Longbridge, but it is now only an assembly job of car kits crated in CHina and sent over.

Wasn't also this company bought by a foreign investor as well?

Joint venture partnership with Geely for China.
Ownership is by Manganese Bronze who are still British.

In Canada are doing very good Hi-End audio amplifiers (Moon, Bryston), but Canadians automakers I do not remember
In my opinion, not one of countries at the moment, is not an absolute leader.

Well I'm not really worried about the Chinese taking over the auto industry.....just curious as to how China got more votes from this board than all of the aforementioned nations put together.

Simple: There are at least two Chinese nationals on this forum, and everyone else pretty much agrees that Germany, Italy or Japan
does it better. I wanna know the two who think the Aussies or UK have a chance at automotive world domination. They be trippin'. :p

Concerning Canada, I think I have mentioned this several times, but I believe that Ontario produces more cars than any other subnational unit in the world - more that the state of Michigan even. A recent Car and Driver had a breakdown of production in North America, and I think (I did not total it) that Ontario had even Michigan beat, as well as all other states.
The question asks what nation will be the sole car producer; other nations can design them, and Canada can build them.
