I was thinking they should contact Marine Turbine Technology and grab one of their Rolls Royce Allison turbines and stick it in it. 400HP and 500Ft-Lb torque in a motor LIGHTER than a motorcycle engine. But that would never fly unfortunately.

yeah, turbine engines burn way too much fuel.
pah fuel consumption concerns is for pansies :)
But, if you want turbine power, put it in something REALLY light ...

Yes, I am well aware of the Y2K. I saw Jay Leno had one and turned green with envy. Guy has more money than brains. :p
