You are always invited to add any missing vehicles in the HideOut :D
I usually only add cars I am personally interested in haha.

He does like his tech and is an environmentalist, but this is also the guy who drove a Zonda C12S and founded EVO magazine. He's thoroughly a car enthusiast. He did mention he didn't care for the driving dynamics nor the styling of the Model 3.

I know, me too, I was joking. In the meantime, I have found 4 Tesla models in the HideOut upon sorting the threads alphabetically ;)

I've known Harry for a number of years. To a large extent, he's the one who put Pagani on the map as the first well known and well publicized Zonda owner. Not at all surprised he hated the driving dynamics on the Model 3, way to digital.

I think the Pagani Zonda is quite a special car with that V12. The worksmanship and engineering cannot be denied. The Huayra doesn't look quite as special and dropped that manual shifter, so I guess it's not as special as its predecessor. As special as the Pagani is, he doesn't seem to own the Zonda anymore. The way Horatio Pagani designed the Zonda, reminds me a bit of a the Jaguar XJR-15 or the McLaren F1, except done more recently as opposed to the early 90s. Truly the last of the analog supercars.

Harry sold the Zonda when the running costs went through the roof and he got one of those offers that was very hard to refuse. I owned a XJR-15 a few years ago. While it was a very special car and the carbon fibre body was beautifully made, it was a complete handful to drive and fairly terrifying at the limits.

Every automaker is suffering. FCA, especially, seems to be in dire straits.

FCA has been in dire straits for years.
-
It is a very negative situation. How many of these temporary layoffs will turn permanent? Let's hope as little as possible.
Who is buying anything at the moment other than essentials, forget about cars?

FCA was never on solid financial grounds. Ford was relatively the best out of the big 3 and they're still hurting.

Well how about this, a barrel of oil went negative yesterday.

I wish I had the storage capacity to just buy up 100 gallons of 93 octane. They'd have to just give it to me and pay me!

We live in very strange times.
Have you seen this: https://karenable.com/supercar-market-update-q1-2020/ ?

I am just considering when to start buying. Markets are in turmoil. Everything in the world is a mess.
Automotive industry is in a bad way.

I still can't afford that haha.
I wish my father had the forethought to squirrel away Mercedes 300SL gullwings for cheap when they were just a random used sports car. Running, not running, crashed, body shell, any condition is already worth more than anything.

Everything is a mess right now. I just hope they give me a nice big discount on a new car with a stick assuming I survive this pandemic.
-
Hope you're well NSX. Must be tough on the front lines.

It certainly is. Have you seen this update on Aston, Ferrari, & McLaren? https://karenable.com/aston-ferrari-mclaren-q22020-update/
