New York cab painted pink I think
It's a Checker Marathon, which was the ubiquitous New York City cab for most of the latter half of the 20th century. They were basically built to be cabs: big, roomy, and as solid as a tank (check out the size of that bumper; perfect for muscling lesser vehicles out of the way :D). I'm pretty sure that ordinary citizens could buy them though, if they were so inclined. Why anyone would paint one pink, God only knows.

It's the M1 turbo prototype as far as I know. It was powered 4 cylinder Turbo engine, much similar to that on the 2002. Later this was the basis design for the M1 with mounted a 6 cylinder 3500 engine with 286bhp.

You just beat me to it...:p There's one displayed at BMW's museum in Munich. Only one thing, the production M1 had 277bhp ;)

Displaying one of what, the prototypes or production model? Either way, it wasn't there when I was there in 2004 :(.

You're right. I was confused because the same engine, when mounted on the M635csi or M535, had a power output of 286bhp.

I meant one of the Turbo concept cars, and I actually was there on the summer of 2004, strange that you didn't see it...
Could someone please tell me what the cars in this picture are? I got it from the Hide-Out, and I know the one in the foreground is an SL55 AMG. I'm pretty sure the silver sedan is a C36 AMG, but I'm especially curious about the red sedan. Thanks!

Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 6.3 (W108/109)
In essence a meld of Mercedes' 6cyl W108 series but fitted with the big 6.3 litre M-100 V8 from M-B's large W100 models. In its day one of the world's fastest four-door sedans
