Great job, looks good, a lot of work there, you even draw the spark plug! Are you doing this just for fun, or are you after something specific ?
The induction sistem seems interesting, i never seem one of those with 3 positions and if you send a exploded view of the valvetrain timing mechanism it would be great, just to see it better :) .
that's REALLY impressive, how long have you been working on it?
It reminds me of the BMW v10 for some reason....
good job bud
Good drawings, what program is that?
that program is SolidWorks. I´m guessing but I´m pretty sure about it.
it is solidworks, it is a 3 stage variable intake unit, it took abot 150 hours of work over the last 8 months. I used the crankshaft in my Meng thesis, ill post the expanded vvt unit asap
some explanation of my crude vvt mech.
One question:
Post#1,last picture. The two pistons are not of identical size .. Did you do this intentional ? Apart from that, good job !!! Which engine did you take as an example ?
PS: It'd be interesting to see the injection system on here too :)
I like you rwork alot!
Very nice drawings:)
But when you spend 150 hrs on this...
You have to create the exhaust more real..
In a high performance exhaust the pipes to the collector must be of equal length...
so pipe number 3 and 4 is very much shorter than the others...:o and noone is really equal i guess....
Just my 2 cent..

the x-sec cut cuts pistons at different points, they are identical. just to add to the unfeasability of this the bore is 98mm and stroke is 39mm. thats ferrari f1 specs, my next step is to stroke it out to 80mm by modding carankshaft, block and intake. then add direct injection preferably.
i tuned my exhaust lengths based on shock waves, i focued on lengths here but really i need to change pipe diameters for this to work better.

I don't understand what you mean really..?
can you explaine how you see this exhaust works good with un-equal lengths?
Just qurious to find out:)
