Removing adhesive vinyl
The previous owner of my new ride unfortunately put adhesive vinyl "carbon fiber" on some plastic trim.
Has anyone had experience removing this crap? I have the option of buying replacement parts but if it is possible to remove i would like to try it.

Hair dryer, and patience.

I've never removed any in the past but from what I've heard a hair dryer should do the trick.
Carbon fiber adds HP though, maybe you should keep it.

Just saw the pics on the other thread, congrats!!

Thanks.
I am going to put some gauges in it. That will hopefully compensate for the carbon fiber.

Cheers. The banking details vis-à-vis the final transaction have been a little held up so I am still impatiently waiting to take delivery.

Just an update. Took the car to my mates to see and being a panel beater he assessed the situation and simply unpeeled the two bits from my B pillars. Left no residue at all that I could see. Just goes to show you.
