Y'dont say :D :D How old are you, by the way? Ten?
Sucks big-time. He's a really funny guy, my fav presenter in my fav TV show. Hope he's gonna be ok! :(
Wow  this news is shocking all automotive amateurs, I also feel sad, Top Gear is my favourite tv-show and since Richard is in it, the show has gained a higher entertainment level...
Jeremy, James and Richard are a great team, without him it wouldn't be the same.. (no more "white teath" or jokes about his length...)
You all remember those challenges he has undertaken... RS4 vs mountain climbers, Cayenne Turbo S vs parachute, special 4x4 vs powered kajak... and much more.
Hope this wasn't one challenge too much and that he recovers from this terrible crash...
My thoughts go out to Richard and his family, I hope the best for you, little funny man!!!

Summary:
Richard is 'improving' and his wife has been on his bedside the entire night. He is stable but still very very ill. According to the BBC he was driving at around 300 mph when after several runs it "veered off to the right". "One of the parachutes had deployed but it went on to the grass and spun over and over before coming to a rest about 100 yards from us." (Former firefighter Dave Ogden, who was working with Hammond)
His crew and an ambulance rushed over and found the car upside down and "dug in" to the grass.
The family asked to hospital to not release any further details on his condition...
Damn, that's awful. Hope he makes a full recovery

Same here, hope he's okay, :(
That's great to hear he is doing better. Out of the 3 fellows I've seen host on Top Gear, Richard is my favorite.
He is my favorite too, I hope he recovers completely without complication :(
He is 89 years old. Are you sure it's not somebody else?
Will we be able to find out the progress from any source? News people have a tendensy of not following up stories but we all need to know from some source how his recovery is going!
