nice site you got there, glad to see most of the cars arent polluted with tuner stickers in your banner:p
i cant say i like the colour coded BOSS engine covers though, the new GT's have a blue one to go with the blue heads and i dunno, the engine cover's something i'd take off to make way for twin vortec's :p
-
Thanks for that. These guys love their orange. The Purple Holden had Purple covers cause..well Orange wouldnt go so well with the Purple..lol.
-
maybe i just dont like the BOSS covers cause all the SS Inductions ads have them in yellow, yuck!
i havent really seen many LS1 coloured covers, i know alot of people get rid of he turtle shell though :p Holden finally take it off just to put one on the Alloytec :p

yeah thats fair enough. I like them and at least they are doing something with their cars. So many people get these great cars but leave them as they bought them..Most Companies make great cars but just leave that little bit out. The aftermaket goodies do so much more. like bigger wheels. Man what the right wheels do for a car is awesome..
-
yeah wheels can make or break a car, the wrong design and you wont want to be seen in it, the right ones and it can be your personal pimp mobile :p Ford has had some great stock designs lately, like the GT-P's new 19" design and the XR8's 18". i cant say the same for Holden unfortunately, but i guess theyre definately a brand people a quick to do the little mods on like wheels, SS induction, chip, exhaust, cam etc....
what i really hate is how they screw you around with the warranty, its like "here sir, the keys to our $100,000 HSV GTS with 3 year warranty, but if you even think about modifying the car, we'll think of the dumbest reason ever to void your warranty, which'll make it even worse when your power steering blows"..........(i know they fixed the steering problem, but you can't escape that it was an issue for VT2 and VX).......i dont know if Holden has anything like this, but Herrod actually have some Ford dealers as distributers, so like i think its Paul Isaac Ford in NZ, Brad Garlick Ford here in Ryde and some others, you can get the Ford mechanics to fit the Herrod parts, so for warranty and insurance, you got the docket with the Ford letterhead to show them :p
-
yeah but every company is like that. subaru in some places gives memberships and tips on joining race clubs then void the driveline warranty
-
at least they now will give buyers a bit of a rebate on the insurance for the WRX.....they reckon since they put that keypad alarm system, theres been about 4 WRX's stolen, but still the premiums are sky high. FPV have their free high performance driver training thing, although i think its just a 1 day event sort of thing, not like a course or anything but its alot more than others are providing
-
oh hey i have something intereting things about engine mods that will void any warranty... lol 1000 HP... yummm
its jsut a link.. hope thats ok..

i think that pics been around the net 5 times already, Nizpro couldnt have asked for better publicity than that :p
-
lol really i didnt know that. i saw it in the paper last week. sorry about that. Good publicity i agree.
I will see if i can find something newer and updated...
-
theres actually a thread here about that, but...yeah.....:p
i think APS will be itching to release something of their own like that, not let Nizpro catch all the attention :p
-
Still chasing some info. had a busy day but will get something soon enough.
