Regardless if 250GTO is around this is the most beautiful Ferrari...
i find many to be better looking than the GTO. 275 GTB, 166 Barchetta, 250 SWB... lots of others.

I think its something like this: The difference between the 330 P3 and the 330 P4 is that, the P4 is a latter version of the P3, with a different engine. The are almost impossible to tell apart (maybe its just me) as you can see here and here. The P3/4 is the only P3 ever modified to acomodate the engine of the P4.
thats my understanding ...
in these pictures i cant tell... some like a p3 others p4...
Well, the P4s are a targa, the P3/4 and the P3s are coupes.
Also the smaller air intakes at the front are larger on the P4, and there are 4 of them, while on the P3 there are just 3.
Talking about the car in that post, yes, that's a P4.
An example of how you can't just go by whether or not a particular one was a 'Spyder', or are you meaning something else by 'Targa'?

330P4 0860 Spyder
330P4 0856 Spyder

He problably meant the same, i.e. no roof.
All those racing Ferraris, the P-series, are a mess to label correctly.
I think those three P4 Spyders which ran in the 1967 BOAC race were later converted to Berlinetta's...so yes it's a mess to keep up with.
412P #0850 also has only three inlets up front..so you can't really go by those either.
