yep, this is the way Peugeot constructed its V12 for the 907, by putting 2 V6s togehter.
i love the little spring thingy on pic 6, like thats gonna hold anything if things go hectic

lol...
But it`s actually very common to hold exhaust manifoilds together with smal springs like that in/on reducing-joints(don`t know anny good word for it:D ) on race cars... Not to much stress on those parts exept for the engien twisting.. therfore the springs alow movement in the exhaust joints... without the manifoild falling to pieces....:)
And by the way... this is one sick engien....:eek:
