Deer Season
For most Americans, deer season is a fun time of the year when fathers and sons can bond, have fun and kill some deer. Usually, the deer is taken somewhere to be processed, then can be eaten. Where i work, just that happens. Tomorrow, i get to take the lovely 100-250 lb deer that hunters bring in and drag them into a cooler and stack them with a neat little tag on their leg. I get this task from the hours of 8am to 10pm...
So, what is everybody else doing?

My dad already got one. Between work and school I'll be lucky if I go out again.
-
nah, i'm stuck with kangaroo culling in early december... deer isn't for me, although they are pests as well.
-
if I started shooting dear I think I'd be arrested
but I'm sure theres no law against mass-hunting the grey american squirrels that infest our woodlands ;)
-
I didn't go hunting this year...

just got home from the first day of hell
dragged a total of 247 deer from the lowest weight of 25lbs to the largest weight of 192. Last year the number was 305 deer, so this was a bad day for hunting.
Tomorrow after Sunday morning service im back to another afternoon-to-night shift. Wish me luck
