Suprisingly (for me at least), the current gen 5-series is also sold as manual here. As a curiousity in Spain only 14% of the cars sold are autos.

That is the same here. all of the small cars are manual as standard and an suto costs extra but most of the big/luxury cars, you don't get a choice. No manual in most MB, BMW and you can't get a manual Commodore unless it is a sports model. I think most people buys autos over here anyway.
