Z06 Roof Problem
Some of you may have heard that the new C6 Z06 often lose their roofs when driving. Well, one owner decided to deal with the problem his own way. Watch the video all the way through and watch the background for what appears to be a yellow gallardo, a red 360 spider, and what i think is a 355 with tubi? Some one know what that last one is?

Wow, a testament to the build quality of the ZO6.
-
It's just a piece of fiberglass, not really a big deal to me.

Thats actually awesome, its now a forever convertible. Securtiy might be an issue though but Shaq's been doing this for years :p

Many of these cars have had engine problems and such. The yellow car looks to be a Murci as when I paused it I swore I saw its "wings" up.

you mean the C6 roof, and yeah its rare
btw the C6 Z06 has a fixed roof;) it doesn't move

They outsourced the glue used for the fiberglass roof, its the quality of the glue, not the car.

yeah i did, but i stand by my post
im sure if i kicked any roof hard enough it would rip off at some crease, especially if it is figerglass
like i said they are fixed, not removable, as in not meant to be taken off for a sunday drive
edit: as for the guy that said this equates to overall bad build quality, lets take any car you want whether it be an ferrari or lamborghini, if you pull or kick hard enough something will fall/rip off...that would be common sense, not bad quality

It didn't come off because he kicked it; He was kicking it to get it off completely because it was loose and flapping around.
That said, I don't think the Corvette is a low-quality car for what it is, and I never have.

Could someone explain what happens; I can't watch the video.
