I love Formula One, but how can they do this? Michelin quit right before the start. This is about as bad as the NHL season cancellation. Load of BS.

Ok so i turn on the tv to watch, just in time to see all but 3 teams pull into the pits and take off their race-ware... wtf?!?? THERE ARE 6 CARS RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 this is the most stubbern and stupid race ive ever seen....
I've said it before; I'll say it again. F1 sucks.
ooh... i just posted the same thing
i hear its cuz of the michelin tires, they're unsure if the tires will make it through the race safely.
It just happenend: Michelin called all their drivers back into the pits after the parade lap. They think it's to dangerous to drive at the Indy Moterspeedway. Only six drivers left: Schumacher, Barrichello, Monteiro, Karthikiyan, Friesacher and Albers (Go Chris!!! :D)
You think Michelin made the right decision??
Posted the same too, 2 minutes ago :D :D

We should make our own F1 bitching threads. I feel left out...

Me too, I can't watch it today.
What positions are they racing in as we speak?
Ferrari, Ferrari, yellow car, black car, yellow car, black car.
Edit: They're showing more interviews with retired drivers than racing. F1 sucks.
I think all our threads got put into one... lol.
But yeah, i heard it was all because of the tires.
Its even worse tho because now some of them are throwing stuff on the track... (kind of pointless considering those are the ones that ARE racing).

Last i saw ferrari had a pretty large margin too.
9 seconds. Albers just flat spotted a tire locking it up going into the backstretch section.
I've been a Formula 1 fan ever since the heyday of Jim Clark. I've stayed with the sport through the bad and the good but never, NEVER have I been as angry as I am right now.
The USGP is finished. The headline story in today's Indianapolis Star was how this event has never caught on with local fans. How does Bernie think this is going to sit with Americans. How does he expect Tony George to react when he pays tens of millions of dollars every year to host this event only to have his investment turned to rubble by the arrogance and stubbornness of one man.
I don't know whether to scream or to cry. I just know that never again will I feel toward F1 the way I did before.
