Really? Short lived indeed, i guess. But the price bargain of the srt has a edge.
-
I thought they had a 380kw updated one coming soon
-
When is it due? i haven't really heard of it.

That comes at a compromise though. Like most American cars, it will probably only appeal to American buyers.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has been there for about a month now.........
-
Hmm another American car that looks like shit, keep em comin'

People buy a Porsche for the name, they don't care aout the price.
If some one is looking at a Cayenne, they aren't going to also look into the SRT-8.

I doubt it will appeal to anyone. American (like me) alway buy the biggest and most expensive this they can because we are all about excess.

Id have to say your wrong. When your looking for a car you drive many different types of cars and some people will but it because its a Porsche but some people will buy the GC because its more bang for the buck.

i just want to see the srt-8 engine in a wrangler... that would be the ideal set-up

But for the Jeep and the rest of the High Perfomance SUV market, its srtictly a buyers market, there isn't to much to shop, ML AMG, TURBO S, SRT-8, and a few others.
The GC is NOT a bang for your buck according to Consumer Reports: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/ConsumerReportsSnapshot.aspx?year=2006&make=Jeep&model=Grand%20Cherokee&src=vip
