When you have big wheels, big headlights & big detailing, it can hide the actual size of a car very well.
I've got to say I'm not a big fan of this cars looks - it's extremely heavy handed - but ugly sure travels faster than the speed of light some days :p
I think the fact that the CL looks so massive is a good thing. Kind of brings back that olde Mercedes 'presence' from yore.
yea, the CL looks huge but still proportioned. I kinda like it.

I never thought I'd say this about a Merc SL, but I really like it. Now that the M5 will return to a V8 and the M3 a V6 (!?), maybe EVO is right calling this the last über machine?
It's even got a cam-tail (sort off):D

PS! When I wrote this, a 997 Targa put the pedal to the metal on the street outside :)

Where'd you hear that the M5 is running a V8 and the M3 is running a V6....?

I also read the same, but i can' remember where. I know Autoblog had something about a V8 in the M5 recently...
Oh, and this car is unbelievable. I love it, i think it's really nice. Looks good, but menacing. Just sexy as hell...

the next M5 is rumored to use a twin turbo V8 engine, while at first it seemed it would eb an twin turbo update of the V10. some mules of the standard M5 were spotted since a year ago with bigger air intakes.

I highly doubt a BMW would have a V6 engine...

Well the twin turbo engines from the X6 is probably going to be shoved into the 5 series. I dunno about the M line though.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Klemmel, it's okay. I would rather prefer it be N/A though, cause that's how their M cars usually are. It'd be interesting to see it with a V6. It would be kinda going back to its roots, but not quite. The original M3 was a I4. I would rather it be a I6 though. We'll just have to wait and see.

It won't have a V6. Not unless BMW has gone mad. A straight six isn't out of the question, though.
