Ferrari supercars headed for auction and new Radical SR3 XX ...

With conventional auctions still out of the question, RM Sotheby's stage their Driving Into Summer online only, time based sale this week. The lots opened for bidding on Friday and will close on the 28th or the 29th. The sale is headlined by the trifecta of Ferrari supercars of the 1980s, '90s and '00s. The earliest of the trio is this 288 GTO, which was delivered new to German collector Hartmut Ibing, who also had a 250 GTO in his collection. It was briefly stolen when it was brand new and has only three legitimate owners. The GTO is estimated to sell for $2.2 - $2.4 million.
From the 1990s comes this F50, which was also sold new to Germany. It was the second chassis built and was shown at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show. During its 25-year life, the $2.5 - $2.75 million F50 covered just over 3,000 miles.
The Ferrari Enzo consigned to the sale has had only two owners from new and is almost brand new with the odometer reading 1,250 miles. Delivered new to San Francisco, it is estimated to sell for $2.6 - $2.9 million.
Over the weekend, Radical introduced the SR3 XX, which is a more sophisticated version of the British sports car's familiar machine. It features an all-new electrics system that has been developed by AiM Technologies. The top-of-the-range SR3 XX is powered by a 1.5-litre version of the Suzuki Hayabusa engine, which is good for an impressive 226 bhp.
